OK...I'm going to create an ad for my wife's books here. She is Connie, or Tribalmom as she's known at Covenspace.

One book, A Love Sentence, is about DV and what a woman might go through in a domestic situation. There are not only lots of "hints" that might help someone in a bad situation see that, but also lots of resources are listed. Connie is very knowledgeable about domestic violence, having worked in a shelter too. I've read the book, and even though it's a little sad it could help others, those uninitiated to DV, learn what it's about and perhaps help someone that they know.

Connie wrote another book, Reflections in Time, which is sort of a time travel, sci-fi story. It's a very interesting read. It was a book that left me wanting the story to continue, since it's open to a sequel.
